AI Yangjae Glocalisation 2022 Draws to A Successful Close with Business Matchings in Singapore

Singapore, November 2022 – Over the past three months, KILSA Global worked with the AI Yangjae Hub to curate the programme and provide a platform for rising AI startups from South Korea to connect with the Singapore ecosystem. The immersive programme comprises a virtual component of business understanding, mentoring workshops, and offline business matching sessions, where participating companies showcased their tech solutions and networked with potential collaborators, investors, and industry partners.

The 3-day onsite program was commenced by Mr Yoon Jong Yung, Managing Director of AI Yangjae Hub. He spoke fondly of the advancements and innovations made in the Korean AI technologies and how Singapore could potentially be a platform to accelerate the growth and adoption of said technologies.

Mr Philip Park, Managing Director of KILSA Global, added that there are plentiful cross-border collaboration opportunities to benefit start-ups as Singapore has advanced technological foundations. Furthermore, KILSA Global specialises in global expansions services and business developments to facilitate and maximise start-ups’ ventures.

Ms Jessie Yip, Managing Partner of KILSA Global (Strategy and Operations), introduced the core partners, A*STAR – Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Continental-NTU Corporate Lab, and Draper Startup House. They provided a curated guided tour to introduce the innovative tech capabilities and shared about the potential collaborations to help Singapore pivot towards a Smart Nation.
