KILSA Global Solutions Participates in the NCSS’ Capability Circles TechUP Series: Future of Case & Community Work

On 18th January 2023, KILSA Global – the parent company of KILSA Global Solutions – was invited to present the case allocation system developed for one of the social services agencies through its Capability Circles TechUP Series on the Future of Case & Community Work.

The webinar series showcases some digitalisation projects using a case funded by NCSS Tech and GO! Scheme to assist Social Service Agencies (SSAs) in tapping into the required support in their digitalisation roadmap. The session focuses on  (1) Case Distribution & Assignment (Resource management); (2) Scheduling & Reminder (Appointment Management); (3) Community Work (Community Outreach case reporting and information management).

The sharing was a joint presentation to share the journey of SSA’s digitalisation efforts starting from the problem identification, designing solutions and finally the actual deployment. KILSA Global has designed and developed the web-based system for the case worker to track the caseload of each member; perform automated case allocation based on the defined criteria/request; and lastly, prepare for management reporting with visualised graphs and datasets.

The case allocation system has also been approved to be part of the NCSS’ IT Solutions Green Lane scheme.

Background of the webinar

In 2017, the National Council of Social Services (NCSS) launched a five-year roadmap for the Social Service sector and highlighted the Social Service Sector 4 Strategic Thrusts (4ST). NCSS, under the Ministry of Social and Family Development, is working on supporting accelerated digital transformation in the Social Service sector.
