□ Singapore and Indonesia, the representative countries of Southeast Asia, will be the stage for our startup’s innovative technology to debut.

□ Seoul Startup Hub (CEO Jang Young-seung), Seoul’s leading startup support organisation, joined hands with global hub partners, KILSA Global (co-representative Philip Park / Sean Tan), to look into test bedding projects and opportunities in Singapore and Indonesia to establish global scale-up platform for SSH startups.

○ This project is a part of the ‘2021 Seoul Startup Hub PoC Support Project’, focusing on projects that requires support in conducting local test bed (PoC) projects with government agencies and private companies in Singapore and Indonesia for promising startups in Seoul. SSH will support local project management as well as equipment purchase and installation.

□ Selected startups are ▲ Embiome, a startup specializing in vehicle hygiene and air care, ▲ FATOS, an intelligent mobility tech startup, and ▲ PixelScope, a startup specialising in sports vision and data, and will run a testbed PoC from June to September 2021.

○ Embiome (CEO: Ki-Young Yoon) collaborates with Gojek, a local shared vehicle operation, private-hire and payment service platform, in Jakarta, Indonesia to promote local vehicle disinfectant and test products. A pre-test bed for domestic technology verification will be conducted at the Seoul Startup Hub (Gongdeok/Chang-dong) for one month before the overseas PoC.

○ FATOS (CEO: Dong-Ho Kim) collaborates with Capelle, a consulting company that manages the national IT industry in Singapore, to create a custom map that can identify the movement of community center registrants and volunteers.

○ Pixelscope (CEO: Ki-hwan Kwon) cooperates with Fitness Movement, a fitness and sports media platform in Singapore, to install and operate a local fitness center trial of its Exergame 4D program.

□ Meanwhile, Seoul Startup Hub is promoting PoC projects around the world including Spain, Singapore, and Indonesia through overseas public-private networks.

“As the number of startups aiming to advance into the global market is increasing, I believe that practical support should be provided for them. Since the localization support project in Singapore and Indonesia, which is being carried out with KILSA Global, is based on local projects, we expect that it will be able to contribute to the successful overseas expansion through clear and targeted support for each company.”
